Night Cap.

We all have our routines. Personally, I have many and they include a routine cleanup of daily/nightly routines! Over the weekend I updated my night stand drawer with some new items that I am very excited to share!

EOS– Refreshing mint= bedtime treat!

Neosporin– this is basically a staple product. I have one here, in my bathroom, in my handbag and in my living room. It’s an everything-product- it works!

DreamTime Aromatherapy Inner Peace Eye Pillow, Lavender Not going to lie, it doesn’t stay on all night but I do like falling asleep with it. The smell is so soft and relaxing. And the weight of the pillow is just enough to relax my eyes. Check out their website, fun stuff!

Glass Nail File- What a fun find! Glass provides the best care without damaging! I was actually given this as a gift, so the make of this actual file is unknown, but you can find similar ones here: Sephora, Nail File

Clarins Hand & Nail Treatment– Cares for your cuticles too! The best hand cream I have ever experienced and I mean experienced! It’s a mini spa every time.

Jo Malone, Red Roses– Heaven in a bottle. It smells so beautiful. I like to spritz a little on my pillow to feel like I’m sleeping in a garden. Don’t judge- you’re just jealous!

Jurlique, Rose Love Balm- Okay you might be sensing a theme here. I am obsessed with the scent of roses… this actually feels great!

Bath & Body, True Blue Spa– Too Shea! I use this on my cuticles and my feet.

Burt’s Bees, Peppermint Foot Lotion– OK, so I like mint too! A lot.

I wish I was the moon tonight…

Okay, I am obsessed with finding different things to try for my beauty routine so I feel like I am pretty knowledgeable about several different areas of beauty, but this is news to me!

So in the same way the Farmer’s Almanac uses the universe to make predictions, the Lunar Calendar uses the moon to routine our beauty. Now you have to be a little into astrology, I think, to understand and accept this type of guide, but even if you aren’t I find it to be still very interesting.

From Well-living Blog, Luba clearly lays out when its best to get a haircut, manicure and facial!

I found this little gem to be quite interesting, Lunar Calendar, roll over the cards for details on beauty by day.

There’s even an app. Okay, now things are getting serious. I am going to keep doing my research, but I need help understanding where this came from/started…

(Side note: love this song…)

Olsens Anonymous- Reblog!

So obsessed with this post from Olsens Anonymous– Elizabeth Olsen looks stunning in this shoot with Lancôme at Kew Gardens in London. Check out Kew Gardens too- what a beautiful place!

Spring has….

Spring has ALMOST sprung here in the South. Now if only the temperature would stay warm. This weekend was a bit chillier than the previous, but one thing about this South is when its hot, its hot!

This image of Bobbi Brown’s Spring Lilac Rose Collection has me real excited for one of nature’s most colorful seasons. I honestly can’t decide what I am more in love with, the bed of roses or all the pastel palettes!

Baby Feet

The best part of working in cosmetics is the opportunity to try new products. I will pretty much try anything if you tell me that the results will be amazing and more than worth the risk! Of course, I do my own research on the products and read reviews that are out online, but being a guinea-pig isnt’ a scary thing to me!

This past week I tried Baby Feet. The product claims that “Baby Foot is designed specifically to remove unwanted dead skin cells from your feet. It’s effective, effortless and very simply to use.” And well, they weren’t lying!

The socks are interesting, themselves, and they are filled with all of these vibrant, clean, and fresh ingredients that cool on your feet for 1 hour.

Within 3 days the peeling began! unfortunately, on the night of my power yoga class– eek! A little embarrassing and gross that layers of skin are sliding of my feet and onto my mat, but if the yogis in my class are true yogis’ their attention was not on my feet, but on their own mat! (Let’s hope!)

By day 6 the peeling took over my feet and, yet again, yoga was a bit of a challenge, but nothing stops me! I seriously think that at least a centimeter of skin came off. Scary, right!? But the results were baby soft. Brace yourself, this gallery is a bit close-up! Don’t judge me by my before pictures, please, I just happened to really need the product!
